EYE OF THE MICROSCOPE, 2021
This work illuminates the intricate beauty of a world that is so small it goes overlooked and unnoticed. We are used to seeing beautiful depictions of nature in the everyday forms of plants, flowers and trees that are visible to the naked eye, but we forget how incredibly complex these things are. By zooming in extra close to a stem of a baby American Basswood tree and a rhizome of a fern, patterns in the cellular structures of these plants are revealed. There is an entire universe that exists at a microscopic level, one we can only explore through the eyes of a microscope.
